The daily recommended vitamin D allowance is 1000IU. This is a high dose vitamin D product for those with higher vitamin D needs and / or deficiency, as determined by a healthcare provider. Due to recent updates, this product now falls under a schedule 3 supplement – as it is above the recommended daily allowance – and therefore requires a prescription from your healthcare provider.
